Welcome to the Morristown Housing Authority
The Morristown Housing Authority was formed in 1952 in Morristown, TN. It began with
public housing units and later expanded to include Section 8 Existing Certificates,
now known as the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program
Today, Morristown Housing Authority manages 672 public housing units and includes a
Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, Moderate Rehabilitation, and New Construction,
which issue a combined total of 503 vouchers.

Effective October 1, 2009, the Morristown Housing Authority Section 8 Housing
Choice Voucher Program will no longer be accepting applications. Notice will be
published when Morristown Housing Authority will begin to accept applications.
